Safety at the Park

It is Cedar Point’s ultimate goal for you to stay safe and never once have to think about your safety.  They want you to have fun and let them worry about your safety.  There are however some precautions you will want to take to enjoy your day safely.

  • Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.

  • Wear light clothing with a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.

  • If you are overweight, too short, or too tall to ride a ride comfortably and safely, don’t force yourself on the ride or try to get under the radar.

  • Never, ever, under any circumstance pull out your phone or a camera on a ride.  It is against policy and Ohio law not only for the safety of you but also for the safety of others.

  • Obey all park signage you see before going on a ride.  If you have a health condition that and it is recommended that you do not ride the ride then simply do not.

  • Do not cut in line to catch up with your party.  It is rude and against park rules.  Have them come back and wait with you.  It is against the rules to cut in line and when caught, you may be asked to leave the park with no refund.

  • Only smoke in designated areas throughout the park.  You would not want to be the one responsible for throwing a lit cigarette on the Blue Streak and catch it on fire!

  • Have a place for you and your party to meet if you happen to lose one another.  Remember there is a lost children place located in Kiddie Kingdom near the front of the park.

  • Remember Cedar Point has their own police force and First Aid stations within the park.
