Safety In the Park

It is Kings Island’s and Cedar Fair’s ultimate goal for you to stay safe while visiting the park. It is a goal for you to never think about your safety while in the park. The park wants you to have fun and the park to worry about the safety instead of you. There are precautions guests need to be aware of before enjoying their day at the park.

Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated

Wear light colored clothing with a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen to stay protected from the sun

If you are overweight, too short or too tall to ride a ride comfortable and safely do not force yourself on the ride or try to get under the radar.

Never, ever, under any circumstance pull out your phone or a camera on a ride. It is against policy and Ohio State Law, not only for the safety of yourself but for the safety of others.

Obey all park signage you see before going on a ride. If you have a health condition that is posted on the signage that recommends that you do not ride, do not board the ride, for your health and safety.

Do not cut in line to catch up with your party. It is rude and against park rules. If caught, you can be ejected from the park without refund. If you have a group waiting for you, they need to come to where you are located in line and wait with you.

Smoke only in designated areas throughout the park. Kings Island has several locations listed on the park maps that are for designated smoking areas. You do not want to be the one responsible for throwing a cigarette out into the mulch and catching it on fire.
