Cedar Downs Racing Derby

One of two of it’s kind, Cedar Downs Racing Derby, is a racing horse carousel ride. Cedar Downs was transferred to Cedar Point in 1965. It has become a classic ride for families to enjoy together.

Cedar Downs is a racing carousel where the horses gallop around the track. Riders are placed in four-across rows, with the horses trading the lead back and forth as they race to the finish. Only one horse will win out of the four and the rider(s) will claim their victory!

Cedar Downs is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
